Logic Studio apps Logic 9/Superior 2.0/Akai MPD32

Anyone out there using an Akai MPD32 with Logic 9 and a virtual drum program? I just bought the Akai, which I've got successfully installed. I've got sound through my Apollo Quad and monitors (a nightmare for some), and triggering the Superior kits through my pads. I'm wondering about assigning kit pieces (snar, kick, etc.) to the Akai's controller banks. Any suggestions, tips, would be helpful.
