Logic Pro Logic displaying 8 cores when I only have 4

This wasn't always the case. It was only recently that I noticed this.

I'm running a 2013 MBP Retina 15" 2.7 GHz i7 quad core with 16 Gigs RAM and 512 Gig SSD HD with LPX 10.0.6.

Any ideas?

I believe this processor is capable of "hyper threading," which adds, in effect, 4 virtual cores to the 4 actual cores. Logic must be displaying all the available cores, virtual + real. Why this has been apparent only recently, I can't say. Maybe an update to Logic enabled it to access the virtual cores?
