Logic Pro logic instrument makeovers

Forgive me if I misunderstand this - you wish to offer graphic files as alternatives to those that come standard with logic? That means you will be suggesting to people to go into the logic package, and replace files there with your own? What guarantee will you give to people who do this if it causes them to break their logic install?

I think it is best if you host the png files and then you can share the link here by all means. Mark is right in that hacking into the Logic app package may cause issues so while we applaud the work done in main the plugins look better, I think there should be some caveats you need to mention to people.

...im offering them to people who want to improve the look of the old instruments...its free! it works! so far i have only asked if there is a place to post them... if anyone is interested then i can tell them how to do it....simply involves replacing 2 folders from the resources folder....i would assume that most people would keep the originals as a back up but again i can tell them how to do that....people have been doing this for years.

OK, so just to be clear, what you are essentially saying is, anyone who does this DOES IT AT THEIR OWN RISK, and if anything goes wrong they are on their own. That is important and needs to be stated clearly.

im not a lawyer, and this isnt rocket science! just someone trying to make the holidays a bit brighter....and your daw nicer looking...any modification to an application comes with risk...thats why we always back up before proceeding...life is full of risks...fortune favors the bold! anytime you update your software there is a chance that something could break...this is a simple straightforward mod that can improve your experience using logic. take it or leave it! and merry christmas....hohoho!
