Hi i am new here and i am hope someone can help with this problem.
I am trying to sync logic as a slave to protools. I am using a Tatainium G4 powermac running osx panther with pro tools 6.4.1 mix system and i want to have this as the masther and Logic 7 on a powerbook G4 osx Tiger as the slave. As panther does not support network midi in audio midi setup i am sending midi time code out from protools via a emagic Amt 8 into an emagic Mt4 via midi cables into Logic, I have set up all the sync in logic and when i play protools logic syncs ok But then all instrumnt stop working in logic. I have NI b4 plugin this stops playing with a key stuck down also logic piano crash's i have looked in the Environment and when i disconnect Sum it still happens

any help appriciated

You don't mention if you have a midi cable from the Logic system to the Protools system.

If you do, you have created a midi loop, bad thing. Since you only need the Protools system to trigger the Logic system, only have the midi out from the Protools to the midi in on the logic computer.
