Logic Pro 9 Logic on 2 macs and ex hard drive. And large content

I have 2 macs. 1 Imac and 1 mac pro. Logic on both. I move projects back and forth to work on. Recently purchased Kompleat 8, It has 200 GB of content. I installed the content on one external hard drive drive. My questions are 1 should I take the external hard drive back and forth between computers or install the content on a 2nd external HD for the 2nd computer. If so will a logic project be okay to move back and forth and see the content on the two different external hard drives. Thanks Bill
