Logic Pro 7 & earlier Logic Platinum 5.5.1, Windows XP and Tascam FW-1884

Greetings All,

I am upgrading my PC-based project studio with a new computer running Windows XP Professional (SP2) and will be using the Tascam FW-1884 as my interface and surface controller. My understanding is that the Tascam will work with any software that utilizes the driver for the Mackie Universal Controller - as Platinum 5.5.1 does. Anyone had any experiences with a set-up similar to this?
