Logic Pro 8 Logic Pro 8 & iMovie '09 audio question

Hello!
I'm working with some audio in iMovie '09 that is only coming out of 1 channel. Is it possible to export this audio to Logic 8 to edit the audio to create a 'stereo' mix (ie copy audio to other channel as well) and then export it back to iMovie again? If not, then does any one have any other suggestions? Am really frustrated, so any ideas/ help much appreciated! Thank you.

I think it depends on your OS X. With SL onward I think you just export from iMovie:

Share> export using quicktime> sound to aiff

Earlier versions of OS X you need QT Pro.
