Logic Pro 9 Logic Pro 9 Midi track resets pan???

I have loaded some midi tracks into logic. If I try to set the pan for the track, when I start the playback all pan values for all midi tracks are reset to -3. Can someone tell me how to stop this from happening.

Open the midi tracks in the event list. Check there for any Pan settings - you can delete them.
