Logic Pro 9 Logic Pro 9 upgrade from Logic Pro 8

I have a mac book pro with logic Pro 8 installed.
Just got my Logic Pro 9 upgrade pack.
I have purchased a Mac Pro 8 Core with 8 Gb Ram arriving in three weeks.

My questions are:

Does the license allow me to install on both Mac Pro & Mac Book Pro at once and use it together?

Can I install on both and use only one at a time?

Do I need to install Logic Pro 8 and install the Logic Pro 9 upgrade on the new Mac Pro or just install Logic Pro 9 the upgrade?

Thank You in advance

I have the same question. I have Logic Pro 8 installed on my MacBook Pro and want to install Logic 9. Will installing Logic 9 require 50+ GB of hard drive space (like the full install of Logic 8) or, will it only install the new features?

Your license allows you to install it on two machines. But you can't run them both at the same time if they are networked. If you really need to, just temporarily turn off Airport (or file sharing, etc as necessary)

The Logic 9 Studio upgrade is a complete installer on it's own. So, no, you don't need to install Logic 8 first.

And as far as upgrading' the Logic 9 installer will only install the files not already present on your system from the Logic 8 install. It won't double up your apple loops for example.
