Logic Pro Logic Pro system lost saved data

(Early 2009 Mac Pro Tower, 1TB HD, 64 GB RAM, Logic Pro 10.3.3)

I opened a previous Logic project yesterday, and it opened to the very first version instead of the last versions I’d saved on Friday. None of the MIDI/audio/FX changes I’d saved were present, and the project that opened was totally blank. I save projects several times while working and on internal/external HDs. I also export projects to a thumb drive after every session.

None if the saved versions had anything other than the first Track Window without any MIDI/etc. tracks present. 48 hours earlier Logic seemed to work flawlessly and I was able to bounce tracks for “safety” during that time.

Other problems that occurred are:

-Automation didn’t allow me to set any pen tool points. The tracks and audio level lines were blacked out for “Show Automation” and nothing worked as usual;

-The few bounces I was able to obtain yesterday took extremely long, several minutes going bar-to-bar, instead of only needing some seconds to render a 3:30 song;

-One instrument pad’s playback was intermittent, even though it was a constant pad with the waveform showing the correct signal. The interruptions didn’t occur in the same places and were quite random;

-I got “System Overload” error messages on playback, even though it was only audio files. There are less than 10 tracks total, and not a lot of FX of every track. Again, it worked fine 48 hours previously. Or at least it seemed to work OK;

-The Stereo image would “lose” one side, either before or during playback.

Something similar had happened some time ago, forums said Logic was corrupted and the fix was to reinstall Logic Pro. If this remains an option, please provide info on how to get another 10.3.3. copy. If not, pls provide fix suggestions. Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions.

Cheers!
