My Logic keeps on crashing on me. It’s a fairly recent occurrence and before this (and for years) it’s been totally stable so much so that I wasn’t inclined to go to Logic X.
To try and encapsulate the problem, somewhat, Logic crashes anytime I hit the space bar for a stop.
I’ve tried to create a new Logic plist but when I do it keeps bringing up the license window, as expected, but then when I enter the password for the last update it continually cycles around and shows me the same license window again and again.
I can’t read or decipher code so I can’t tell if the crash log is pointing to something pertinent or not.
Since the crashing started and for several weeks before that I hadn’t added any plug-ins. So the only item fairly new (and I've had it for a few months now so it isn't exactly new) is an ext. SSD which has never been a source of any problems.
I would, of course, be more than happy to supply the crash log if it helps to figure this out.
(I saved the log as an RTF but I'm not able/allowed to upload that, so when someone asks for it I'll send it along.)
I dare not guess at the cause of these crashes as my previous guess’ were proven to be entirely wrong.
So I need help sorting this all out.
