Logic slow in Big Sur

New Member
Hi, I am new to this forum. I have a 16 inch 2019 MacBook Pro with an i9 and 32 Gb of Ram and have experienced some frustratingly slow performance in Logic Pro X since updating to Big Sur from Catalina. I did a clean install of Big Sur, not an upgrade, and loaded Logic from the App Store. Whenever I change audio interfaces it takes 20 to 30 seconds once I click apply. I have created an additional partition on my drive with Catalina that I can dual boot into. When booted into Catalina everything related to Logic is very fast. On the Big Sur boot, I have Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve Final Cut, and several other similar apps. They all run perfectly fine. I can change audio devices in the system preferences and it happens instantaneously. Any ideas?
