Logic stops responding during save as task with Kontakt instances

Anyone else experiencing similar behavior? Logic stops responding during „save as“ tasks with varied instances of Kontakt. I then have to force quit logic, sometimes it looks like there has been actually a new file been created. I‘m on a new 2019 Mac Pro with Logic 10.5.1, Catalina 10.5.5 and the Kontakt 6.3.1 (Same problem with 6.2 and 6.3.2 beta).

It usually happens with tracks that have no active Kontakt plug ins (I use the option „only load plug-ins needed for playback)“or if I try to perform a save as command with a file that I just opened freshly and had not been played thru once. Following the pop up windows throughout the „save as“ process, it looks like the Kontakt instances have to be opened/converted and then reloaded in the background. Did not observe this in previous computer setups/software versions.

So far I have tried clearing the preference files for logic and Kontakt but that did not work.

Any hints greatly appreciated.
