Logic Pro 8 Logic's save window incredibly slow

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone knows why my Logic 8 save window is incredibly slow to respond to typing, clicking and scrolling? It hasn't always been like this.


Any help would be great.

I'm running Logic 8 on a 2008 8-core Mac Pro, Fireface 800 interface

Also, I forgot to mention that the save window isn't slow at the start of a project, only once the session has been saved a few times.

Is it maybe because you are saving instruments and their samples (to your project folder) which have been introduced since the last save? This does take ages, and it can be worth turning that option off until the end of the day, when it can save everything in one long go. (But make sure you don't forget!)
