Logic Pro 9 Low input signal to Logic from Onyx 1220i

Hi

I am experiencing a significant loss of signal between the input signal (after setting up trim on my new Onyx 1220i) and the resultant recorded signal on Logic 9.1.8. The recorded signal is perfectly clean, but perhaps 15dB lower.

Does anyone know why?

If the interface has a mixer app, check your settings, also double check the Audio/Midi Setup Utility.

I have the same problem. No driver nor app for 1620i with mac...

Mackie suggest this is normal and that you have to max the input gain but this seems very odd design philosophy, and even then i cannot get the signals in Logic that I get with my old analogue Mackie desk. On another track, the software interface is the Apple audio app wihtin Utilities, and there does not seem to be any magic gain adjustment solution within that. So I am still left bewildered about this, i love Mackie stuff so i want to believe, and get this working. Let me know if you hear of anyone else who has been down this road, there must be many Mackie users with the same problem, though their forum does not yield any firm solution that I can see.
