Logic Pro LP App Location

I just noticed that the application file is in the Utilities folder, and not in the main Applications folder. Never noticed before because LP appears in the Launchpad as usual. All my installations have been from the App Store. Is this normal?

Not typical and not sure why it ended up there.
You can move it into the Appliations folder which will duplicate it.
Just delete the Utilities folder version once all set.

Seems quite happy where it is. Maybe I'll wait for the next update.

No harm in moving it or leaving it where it is.
The app will be updated in its current location.

I seem to remember a version of Logic ending up in the utilities folder several years ago.

It might have always been there. I only access it from the launchpad or spotlight.
