I just brought a 3.0GHz Intel Core i7 Dual-Core (Haswell), 16GB of 1600 MHz LPDDR3 RAM,
1TB PCIe-Based Flash Storage. Anybody running Logic Pro X without any problems.

Thanks Guys

Congratulations!
Your new Mac has some nice specs.
To optimize your system performance, store third party sample libraries on a separate external SSD hard drive, and save your projects to a fast mechanical external drive.

My main system right now is a 2012 2.6 GHz quad-core i7 Mini with 16 GB RAM and two internal non-PCI SSD drives.

My mobile computer (from studio to kitchen, or sitting outdoors) is a 2010 2.4 GHz core i5 MacBook Pro with 8GB RAM, internal SSD and mechanical drives. The screen shot shows the CPU load meter during playback of the Helena Beat demo song at an I/O buffer of 64 which is ridiculous for playback of a mix.

The point? You have plenty of power to run Logic on your Mac.
