Logic Studio apps MainStage2 with OSX 10.9

Did OSX 10.9.3 change the usability of MainStage?
I have MainStage 2.1.3 and it works fine on my desktop running OSX 10.9. I tried to copy it to my laptop running OSX 10.9.3 and I got a message that "MainStage cannot be opened because of a problem. Check with the developer to make sure main stage works with this version of OS X. You may need to reinstall the application."
 
It would be a first time install (on the laptop), not a reinstall. How does that work? Everything is online with Logic 9, I think. Or do I have disks floating around somewhere in my studio for Logic 9? I can't remember. I'm using Logic X now. I just wanted to play with MainStage, as I've never used it before.
Also, I'm confused because this was my wife's computer and when I go to upgrade anything with my ID the message comes that I cannot proceed with that ID and that computer.
