I love the way Ctrl-K adds markers accurately to the snap parameter. I just roll the basic track with one finger on Ctrl and dab K when I want to. Then roll back - double click the marker to rename.
I know you all know this anyway but I was so pleased with this bit of workflow I thought I'd share my delight.
