Hi all, I have stopped digging that hole and just paid the same for a new Mini with more RAMM and bigger HD than buying another 5 year old iMac which will turn out not to run on the next OS. I need to install Logic Studio 2 and want to do it using CD sharing from the MBP's combi drive [ 10.6.8 ] to the new Mini [10.8.2 ],which has no combi drive. Both are connected to the web by the same modem,the MBP via wi-fi and the Mini via Ethernet cable. There is a warning in kbHT1777 that some DVD's and CD's are copy protected and won't allow it to work so I was hoping one of the many geniuses here would take pity and give any advice they may have.
May I use my Logic Studio 2 CD's to install?
