Logic Pro 9 Maybe switching to Logic

hey all, i have been a pro-tools user for years. its time for an upgrade though and those dudes want way too much money. so now im considering just switching over to logic. just wondering if there are others that have come over from pro-tools and what your experiences/learning curves were. thanks

I came over from DP and PT LE (mostly DP though). Logic is pretty different but I really like it. I still work in DP regularly and find it awkward compared to Logic. But, that's how it usually is with anything. I'd tell anyone considering buying to either just buy it as it's so cheap, or, rent the logic videos at groove3.com and watch them to get a feel for how it works. The videos got me up to speed this past year very quickly and I was able to transition full time in about a month.
