Logic Pro 8 MBP number lock for keyboard shortcuts

Hi All,
I'm a bit stumped with my new MBP. The 'fn' key doesn't toggle the 'F6' number lock as it did on my older powerbooks. I need to do this to access my keycommands in Logic and PT.

Do you have the checkbox for the function keys enable, like in the photo below?

Hi All,
The older MacBooks / powerbooks had a secondary '+' and '-' key on the backslash and semi-colon that could be accessed using the function key. The new MBP's don't have that option. Oh well... I changed my keycommands.
