MGear Pedal stop working

Hi. I Have a MacMini runing OS 10.7.3 and Logic 9.1.6

I have also a M-Audio Oxygen88 with a MGear Pedal. When I'm playing or recording something using the sustain pedal, it stop working (the pedal). I have to invert the switch and then uninvert it again, and sometimes it starts working again. Some times I have to turn the keyboard off, unplug the pedal, and then turn it back on.

Do someone knows what is going on? What can I do to solve this?

Sounds like a damaged or oxidized switch, weak soldering point or half-broken wire, something like that.

Could also be a damaged cable, plug or jack. Then you would not "repair" by switching but rather by moving the pedal around.
