Logic Pro Midi click recording to midi channels

Hi fellow users
I had this problem a few years ago and cant remember how i fixed it. The midi click records on all my midi recordings. I have the port switched to off and the channel set to 16 (there is no 0 or off) but whenever I record anything in midi either drum track or keys with the metronome on it records all the click notes and comes up as channel 16 notes mixed in the recording. Now I can simply select all ch 16 notes in the edit screen and delete them but its a bit of a pain. I am happy using the klopclick in audio no probs there but I can stop Logic generating these midi clicks and subsequectly recording them. Even on the drum track when set to ch 10 it doesnt filter out the ch16 notes. I use a TD 30 to input drum notes and an Impact 88 for keys but to be clear even if I disconnect these hardware drivers the ch 16 notes still appear on any midi track recordings. I want the klopclick audio but not the midi click. I have tried porting it to other outs in the project prefs space but still no luck cheers Chris

Can you zip only the project file (no audio files) and attach it to a post ? Doesn't need to have MIDI Regions either. There's two configurations this can happen but either one is lengthy to explain.

Thanks Mate Still trying to compress file. Have deleted audio and removed all plugins but i can get it any smaller than 29 meg which is to big to post. Cant seem to export the environment either which i used to be able to do. Any ideas?

Remove all MIDI and Audio Regions from the Main window. Open Project Audio, select all audio files and hit Backspace (will only remove audio from this project, not erase from disk). Then do a Save-As... This should bring it down to like 1-4 Mb or less
