Logic Pro 9 Midi export: elimiting out-of-range notes.

For my current hurdle, my problem is how to print a score. The first thing I need to know is how not to export, to a third party software (Myriad's Harmony Assistant), certain out-of-range notes whose only function is to change articulations in Vienna Symphonic Library. These notes cause multiple staves for, say, 1 flute and I only want one flute staff.

I understand this can be done in Logic but I have no idea how.

In the Score window, choose Show Staff Styles from under the Layout menu. There, you can set a low note and high note key range for what will appear on any given staff style.

Creating actual scores is my recurrent nightmare but now I absolutely have to do many of them if I want to get any played.
