If I export a single track from Logic X 10.4.7, and playback with Midi Player X, it works fine. If I export a midi file with more than one track, Midi Player X sees a file with 2000 measures. Midi files I made with an older version of Logic did not have this problem, Midi Player X sees the correct number of measures. I haven't discovered any other problems with the exported files as yet.
Also, I use Alesis Sound Bridge (with a windows 7 PC) to upload midi files made with Logic to my Old Alesis QS6.1 synth. Sometimes this works, and sometimes Sound Bridge gives me a "Sequence Buffer Overrun" error. Is there a conversion program utility to standardize midi files? Or is there a newer maybe aftermarket Sound Bridge that would work with OS X? How about a more solid hardware or software midi player that controls older external instruments?
