Logic Pro 8 Mixer question (dumb question)

This is probably the dumbest question I've had to ask but, I can't figure out the answer so it must be done.

I'm using ultrabeat and I have 3 different kicks layered. I'm just trying to send each kick drum to its own channel in the mixer, so I can adjust the volumes in the mixer.

In Ultrabeat, I click 3-4 on the "out" section of one of them but on the mixer, I can't find this channel. In a tutorial I watched, there is supposed to be a + sign on that channel, you click the + sign and then you can find the 3-4 section, which should be that kick. But I see no + sign.

Sorry for such a silly question but any help in the right direction is much appreciated.

You need to insert Ultrabeat as Multichannel instance to be able to create additonal outputs. Probably you have inserted it as Stereo instance.

Shoot. Is there a way to change it once you already built your Ultrabeat kit? Thanks!
First save your kit in Ultrabeat. Here it works to just reload Ultrabeat as Multichannel instance in the same instrument slot. Ultrabeat MC opens with the same setting as the Stereo instance before, and the output assignments of the single drum voices are retained.
