My 828 MK 2doesn't seem to be working. The screen is dimming and it won't playback audio unless I restore the default settings each time I try to use it. Also makes a VERY loud click when I reset it. I really think i need to replace it with something. I need something that sounds good as I write and record library music. I'm a one man shop so I don't record bands but I might like something with more than 2 inputs. AND I don't want to spend a lot.
I used a Firewire to Thunderbolt converter with the 828 but I'm not sure if I "need" a dedicated Thunderbolt interface.
Any reasonable (reasonable is vague I know) suggestions?
