hey all, can someone please help?, i have 2 keyboards usb connecting,
i want to assign them too 2 different instruments, but when i plug them both in they are both doin the same channel.
is it possible to assign each usb port, usb 1/midi1 and usb2/midi 2 ???
thanks , any help massively appreciated!

A) Change the outgoing MIDI Channel of each keyboard to something different (say, 1 and 2).

B) For each Software Instrument track, change to the corresponding MIDI channel. The default will be "All" (thus not caring which MIDI channel the keyboard is). Obviously change them to 1 and 2 respectively.

C) Record Arm both tracks

If you can't change the MIDI channel of each keyboard, there is a way in Logic's Environment to do this. I just don't want to type it all out right now. It requires a deeper understanding of things "under the hood".

I think you also need to check on "Auto demix by channel if multitrack recording" in the MIDI, Overlapping Recordings.... section of the Project Settings>Recording box.
