Hei, hei -
When I upgraded to 10.4.8, I started receiving this message when ever I open a project:
"Error Initializing CoreMIDI" - then the side note: "MIDI Services not available."
I can't access the midi loops I once could. I can access midi patches in the Library, but they are very minimal and a lot of the patches I used to see aren't there.
I want to upgrade to the latest version of Logic Pro X, but I want to finish my Album first, instead of upgrading my OS in the middle of this project. Last time I did, there were a bunch of glitches and I can't afford the time for that to happen right now. (I'm on High Sierra 10.13.6 but the new Logic Pro X requires Mojave 10.14.6 or higher).
Can anyone explain this CoreMIDI message to me and a possible fix?
Thanx in advance.
Best,
Bambi Wolf
