New audio/MIDI i/f and control surface.

Hi Luggers,

For a number of years I've been using a Yamaha 01X as my audio and MIDI interface as well as control surface.
It works very well but is getting long in the tooth and is no longer supported (i.e. doesn't work with anything above Mountain Lion / Logic 9).

Anyway, this has probably kept me on Logic 9 for too long and I've been trying to find a suitable replacement and can't seem to find anything remotely similar for a similar price so was hoping someone on here might be able to point me in the direction of something (or a combination of things) that would allow me to retain the combined functionality whilst moving to a new Mac and Logic X.

I'd like to retain at least eight inputs and the motorised faders. Something I don't currently have but would be nice is an additional headphone socket for monitoring.

Any ideas appreciated.

Cheers,
Robert.

exactly (EXACTLY!) what i want! although ideally i would like firewire connection for my current late 2011 imac and thunderbolt connection for when i upgrade (well add to my system) with a new minimac. if it also had a second thunderbolt port so i could daisychain my SSD i wouldnt need firewire. did you have any luck robert?
