New Euphonix Transport Control

How is your MC Artist behaving? I find that the system is really well-designed and stable but occassionally (and I mean like once) I noticed a 'buzzy' fader, or a fader that kind of 'fights' you- not sure what I was doing wrong... seemed to be OK after that...

I've not noticed any fader issues at all. The MC Mix is really a dream, a fantastic controller! The MC Control's touchscreen can sometimes be slow to respond, which can be a bummer. Hopefully that will continually improve with new software updates.

The main issue I have is that every so often, they won't get detected. Turning on and off the controllers, relaunching EuControl, none of that seems to work. I'll end up restarting, and it will all be fine.

I have experienced that too but have concluded that their was either automation or expression programed to that fader.

I have this problem too. You can reattach the workstation without having to restart. Go to the Euphonix preferences - (click on the green icon in the menu bar). Select the workstation menu. Highlight the work station and add it to the menu on the right. Then click attach.

Once in awhile I will need to restart the Euphoinx software and turn off then on the controllers if I can't get the work station to show up in this menu. Also I have found that the workststion shows up more frequently if Logic is open.

Apparently there's a new firmware and software update in the works that will improve the speed of the touchscreen of the MC Control.

Yes, I spent quite some time chatting with JC on the Euphonix stand at the Musik Messe, and I did notice that the demo system (the same one shown in the video you linked) responded noticeably faster to commands compared with my own. The screen wasn't flickering either. I must say, he was open and interested in getting feedback and chatting about the artist system, we discussed just about all the points I wrote about here:
