Logic Pro New Logic Update?

Hi there,

2 things I don't like about the current version of logic: not very customizable (especially patch library & plug-in organization) and the sampler function.
So do u guys think apple is updating logic, especially with a new sampler / updates exs24, any time "soon" (next years)?

Thanks for any opinions & thus helping me to decide weather to change DAW or not!

If you think Logic is not customizable, then you've never opened the Environment, written a MIDi plugin in Scripter or tried to set up your own key commands in ProTools. Also, Alchemy can load EXS instruments, have you tried that ?

-or had a look at the huge list of available key commands, or the possibilities that creative use of screensets open up....

I agree that EXS 24 is getting long in the tooth, and might be a bit stale. Consider that a load of people have been using it as it is for 30 or more years, and might not welcome a lot of big changes, but a new and better EXS 24 is not a bad thing.

Logic is not the most customizable DAW for overall appearance, but there are a lot of third party themes available for those who like to muck about with these things rather than get on with production. Otherwise, I think it's as customizable as any alternative.
