Logic Pro New to logic ten. How do I remove 9 completely ?

Hey guys I have logic 9 & ten on my macbook.
Been reading a lot on deleting 9 to free up space.
I don't have any projects or any use for 9
How do I delete it ?
Do I have to uninstall ?
There's a lot of different opinions that I've read so far but thought you guys would have the best advice

Both can coexist on the same machine.

Depending on what version of LP you started with, content and presets have changed over time.

Double check that you have access to legacy/ custom presets Apple Loops, and EXS instruments

LP9 is less than 1GB in size, but if must delete it just drop it into the trash, empty trash.

If you really want to remove Logic 9 completely, you can get something like AppZapper (http://www.appzapper.com) which will not only trash the main app but also the associated files that normally get left behind and waste space.

However, as gdoubleyou said above, there are a few things to be careful of before you remove it.
