Logic Pro 9 Newbie Question: Imported Midisong has some Tracks without Sounds...

Hi there,
i am new to Logic but everythings look fine to me and i am learning realy quick.

there is only one problem i cant get solved:

if i import a midisong (tried with many different songs) there are some tracks where i can change the sound in the right menue .. but there a also tracks where i only can choose GM-instruments which i cant hear on my mac book pro ...

i dont have any external midiinstruments and i use the internal soundcard.

does anyone know this problem and can give me a hint?

Some of the Logic users in my country experienced this and most of it happened because somehow during installation the sound bank did not fully installed....I could be wrong but it's worth to take a look
