Logic Pro 9 No copy/Paste between regions Bug?

HI all, Is there a bug that stops the drop down functions list in the score that lists the option of copy to different region,actually it does copy but not what was in the original. IF I click twice on a MIDI note in the score I get the dialog box for 'copy MIDI events-you can set it to copy from any bar to any bar-it's too bad it doesn't work. I also tried to copy Paste in the score it doesn't give the expected result. I may have to use Colins' "play it on the MIDI keyboard to get it in" That means learnng to play very well the piano-or I could record at half time tempo but why must I go through this hell? When will Apple fix these things?
