Logic Pro No guitar sounds from my library

I used to be able to 'audition' guitar sounds from my library before choosing. Now I only hear raw guitar as I scan through - until it is recorded. Then I get the appropriate sound on playback. How do I get back to hearing the onboard guitar choices again?
