Logic Pro Nothing shows up in the piano roll view

In one project nothing shows up in the piano roll views. Notes show up in Score view though. I cannot figure it out.
Thanks in advance for any help on this.

going on your screenshot you are viewing some very high pitched areas in the piano roll. What happens if you scroll down a few octaves below c7-c8?

No, I've scrolled. I don't know if you can tell by the pic, but the color is duller than when there is a pitch field. Also, I found I cannot see the full score in the Notation view. If I select a few instruments I can see them, but when I click the hierarchical arrow, everything disappears.
