NY Logic Pro Users Group - Next Meeting Announcement
The next meeting of the NY Logic Pro Users Group will take place Thursday, April 16th, 6 PM at Dale Pro Audio in Manhattan. Info at www.nylpug.com.
Our very special guest will be Peter Schwartz, a veteran of the NYC music scene. He has worked as session keyboardist, synth programmer, orchestral arranger, and musical director for a veritable Who's Who of musical luminaries: Enya, Cher, Madonna, Mariah Carey, David Bowie, Pet Shop Boys, N'SYNC, Hanson, ...and many more!
Of course, you also get to meet fellow music producers, engineers, songwriters, etc. at each NYLPUG meeting.
Please note that in order to continue meeting at the excellent space at dale Pro Audio, we have been asked to pay a room rental fee; in order to cover this expense, we will be asking for an admission fee of $5 - $7, depending on attendance.

Here's a few more facts about our guest, Peter Schwartz:
Peter is well-known in the dance music world as a key figure in the sound of reknowned DJ/Producers David Morales, Frankie Knuckles, and Shep Pettitbone's legendary remixes. He has recorded tracks and written arrangements for a wide variety of producers, including Phil Ramone and Josh Deutsch.
Peter has worked as a product specialist for the Synclavier, and as a synthesizer design consultant and sound programmer for Korg's M1, Wavestation, Prophecy, their flagship OASYS, and many other synths.
Peter's filmography includes work for FOX, Disneytoons, and Mattel, not to mention dozens of independent films. He currently lives in NY with his wife Sharon and two beloved dogs.
Since 1988, Peter Schwartz has performed as keyboard player & programmer on innumerable album tracks and remixes, working for producers such as Phil Ramone, James Mtume, Nat Adderly, Jr., David Morales, Frankie Knuckles, Shep Pettitbone, Josh Deutsch, and many others.
