A classical piece was created using an incorrect and fast tempo but it plays at the tempo I generally want, the number is incorrect. How do I change that tempo number to more accurately reflect the heard tempo without altering the heard tempo? Current written tempo-136. Sounds out at 80.

Select all the MIDI regions in your piece, then go to the Region menu in the Arrange page and select "Lock SMPTE position" (or Command-L). Now you can change the displayed tempo number to whatever you want, and listen to the click against your MIDI until you get it lined up. (If the piece was created without using a click, you may find you have to make several adjustments to the tempo throughout the piece to line it up, but once this is done it will display correctly in the score window, which could be useful!)
