OSX.5.8 and Yamaha GO44

Hi,

Anyone here using a Yamaha GO44 Mobile audio/MIDI interface?

I just got one and the manual says it should show up automatically in sound preferences but it doesn't.

Yamaha website also says drivers are not required.

Yamaha GO44 / 46 in Snow Leopard

Hi Robert,

My Yamaha GO46 shows up in my control panel, but won't open up. (Error message says it's looking for a server !) I called Yamaha and they said they're not updating the drivers to Snow Leopard. Are you able to get your GO44 up and running? Have you heard of any workarounds?

Hi Sean,

I did get it working but it was awhile back and I can't remember exactly how, sorry.

I'm running it on 10.5.8, not Snow Leopard and it opens fine under Audio MIDI setup.

If you need some more specific info, I'll try to have a look next time I have access to it.
