Logic Pro 8 Pan control out of control

My panning control automatically pans and I can't stop it. I have a midi timepiece (motu) hooked up to a contoller keyboard. When I turn off the timepiece the autopan stops. What am I doing wrong?

What happens when you turn OFF your controller keyboard but leave the MIDI Timepiece on?

I'll check it tomorrow...I reset all midi devices and so far the problem seems to be solved...but with my luck here lately, who knows.
