Logic Pro Panning

Perhaps I missed something in LogicX 101 class but it's always a struggle to input a tiny change in panning with the sliders is there a way I missed to input a specific number and have be setup? I see no simple way to do that but I sure wish that there was one!!!

Double-click on the pan knob & type in a number.
