Logic Pro (X) Play back repeats?

Is there a way to have repeat measures play back, or do I have to write them out to hear how they would sound?

Do you mean the single or double bar repeats (red outline) or section repeats (yellow outline)

The single or double bar repeats need to have the MIDI notes in the region in order to sound, The repeat symbols hide the actual notes and then it sounds as it looks with the repeat bars.

The section repeats do not repeat on playback (sadly).

You'd think the programming would not be difficult - it's just a cycle area that cycles for whatever number of times you'd indicate. 1st and 2nd time bars might be harder to accomodate.

Actually - you can but it requires programming in the environment and is fairly complex to achieve and execute. This is not a feature that exists out of the box in Logic...

Thanks again to all. Volovicg, it's impressive that you were able to figure out how to get the section repeats to repeat in playback using the environment. However, I don't think I'm game to try. Pete, I will add my voice.
