Logic Pro Pre and post analyzer in Channel EQ

After I've done any work within the channel EQ, I am unable to use the analyzer in "pre" mode. All I can see is post. Am I missing something obvious? Thanks.

Here, when loading the EQ with the default flat line, post analyze mode worked, pre did not.
Selecting a preset or making changes to the flat line somehow triggered the analyzer to work in pre mode, a condition that seems to remain even after quitting, then restarting Logic.

After saving your EQ setting as a preset, try selecting a different preset, the reselect yours. Does that change the analyzer's behavior?

What if you open an Empty project template, load a loop, and then test the pre/post mode?

Beyond that, I'm at a loss, maybe it's a bug. Send feedback to Apple from the Logic menu.
