Logic Pro 9 Preset Database

Hello, all -

Since Logic allows one to save Plugin Presets, but the process can be quite tedious to save many, the idea of a plugin preset database for 3rd-party plugins would be very valuable. Plug-in Presets are immediately available in the Library tab, so one can either convert factory presets, or one's own creations, and have one's favorites immediately accessible.

The members of the LogicProHelp forum had started such an initiative, but no updates in a few years:

Maybe we should start our own here, or somehow combine efforts?

Hmmm
I just took your link and the most recent post there was 2 days ago.
It's a huuuuge amount of work - why duplicate it all here? I'm inclined to keep going for the original topic as above.

You're right! I was too quick on the draw, and didn't see how many pages there are to that thread.

Still would be great if all that were available in a downloads section, either on that site or elsewhere, rather than reading through an entire long thread to find the items of interest...
Nevertheless, an extremely valuable initiative...

I've been trying to figure out how to do this for several months now searching everywhere online and this is the first time I've seen people have actually done this and most difficult Kontakt. I don't see the procedure on how to do this. I only see to save it as a certain file name but where do you place this preset shows up in logic preset table? Is it in the audio music apps? Then plug-ins or presets then instrument? Could someone please explain how this all works which started it looks like back in 2007! I'm just now finding that this can be done. I've been speaking with someone Arturia and only got a tutorial on how to say patches, which is completely different. I'd love to help out and do some homework and add to the growing list of presents people have already done if someone would explain how to do it from the very beginning please. I'm a bit new with this. Looking very much forward to a reply so I can get started! Espectacular!

Not sure who to reply to so as someone could explain how to save in a third-party plug-in, their presets? What is the procedure? Kontakt 8 or Arturia V/FX, WHERE DO YOU CLICK TO SAVE ANY GIVEN PRESET, HOW TO NAME IT, AND WHERE TO PLACE IT IN MACOS FINDER? I'M ASSUMING IT'S IN AUDIO MUSIC APPS OR LIBRARY/LOGIC? Apologies, I had caps lock on. I'm not shouting... I'm actually trying to read if there's someone else has already explained this question, or the procedure explained somewhere, but I cannot find it! This is very exciting for me as I've been trying to figure out how to do this for many months... amazed it's been going on project for sometime... now I just need to know how to do it and how it works!
Best, Seth
