Logic Studio apps pressing loopback record button starts arpeggiator

Something I haven't been able to stop. When I press the record button in Loopback, it turns on the play button at the top of the screen which in turn, starts the arpeggiator. I assume it's to do with the clock. Does anyone know how to stop it?
