pressing pause in rapid succession CRASHES logic 9

this wouldnt normally be an issue as most ppl dont press pause in rapid succession but while attempting to program my shuttle control, i found that entering the pause key command much at all makes logic 9 crash EVERY SINGLE TIME. its nuts. i got a mac pro nehalem 2.3 ghz, 8 core w 14 gigs ram, SSD system disk w raid 0 storage drives, snow loepard, latest drivers n software to date. anyone else able to mimic this failure?

Perhaps I have a similar issue. I try to return to the beginning of a section or piece while adding key based articulations in Gypsy, and Logic hangs up with the little spinning wheel. It does seem to be just when I am working with transport.
