Logic Pro 9 Problems Installing

Install disc does not seem to run. Can hear it spinning, but eventually ejects. I have a MBP running 10.6.6. 2.16GHz Core 2 Duo with 3 GB RAM. I also have an academic version of Logic Pro 7.2 on same computer. Been reading accounts of bad install discs. :brkwl:

I have the exact same generation Mac Book Pro, and have had no issues here (in fact my MBP DVD reader is much faster than a Mac Pro's when it came to installing Logic or any other DVD related installers).

Are you sure there are no fingerprints or cracks, etc?
