Logic Pro 9 Problems with fades

does anyone else ever have problems hearing spikes, clicks, anything over audio files that have fades? this is not due to an incorrect fade either. another observation is, the longer the fade, the more likely it is that there will be a problem. i have wondered if it is a cpu issue.. but that shouldn't be the issue.. right? this has been an ongoing issue and happens at the worst times. it also shows up in final bounce down. merging & bip doesnt seem to get rid of it. i still hear audio spikes near where the fades were. this also happens sometimes when i press play at the start of a song... even if it's 2 bars before any audio.

From time to time it seems that it is necessary to rebuild the fade files. they seem to get corrupted. I don't think this is a problem unique to Logic. I seem to recall similar problems with previous versions of Pro Tools (not sure about the behavior with v.8 of PT)

Anyway, the solution is simple. You can delete the fade files from the main Options menu, in the Audio sub section. Then the next time you hit play, Logic will rebuild them. Hopefully this will solve your problems.
